Music, Pride and Solidarity: Concert in Support of the LGBTIQ+ Community on 27 June in Luxembourg

Luxembourg, June 2026 – As part of Pride Month celebrations, Luxembourg-based a cappella group Sultry, together with the Queer Choir Luxembourg, will host a free charity concert on Saturday, 27 June 2026 at 19:00 at the Centre culturel de Neudorf (254, rue de Neudorf, L-2222 Luxembourg).

The concert will feature an uplifting evening of music and community, with donations collected in support of Rosa Lëtzebuerg, a key organisation promoting equality and defending the rights of LGBTIQ+ people in Luxembourg.

A tradition of music in support of meaningful causes

Every spring, Sultry organises a charity concert in support of a cause that is particularly important to its members. This year’s choice reflects a strong personal and collective commitment to LGBTIQ+ inclusion and solidarity.

For Karl Pierce, Chairman of Sultry, this cause has a deeply personal meaning:

“My daughter recently came out, and I have witnessed first-hand both how difficult and painful this journey can be, and also the immense joy that comes with being able to live as your true self. At the same time, I see the challenges she still faces. Supporting LGBTIQ+ people is not abstract to me – it is about standing by the people we love and helping to make the world around them safer, kinder and more accepting.”

Through this concert, Sultry aims not only to raise funds, but also to send a clear message of allyship, visibility and care.

Supporting Rosa Lëtzebuerg

All donations collected during the evening will go to Rosa Lëtzebuerg, an organisation that has been at the heart of the LGBTIQ+ community in Luxembourg for many years.

Rosa Lëtzebuerg works to promote equality, combat discrimination and provide support, information and safe spaces for LGBTIQ+ people and their families. Its activities range from advocacy and awareness raising to counselling, community events and educational work, contributing significantly to a more inclusive and respectful society in Luxembourg. The concert will directly support these ongoing activities.

An event for everyone

While rooted in Pride Month, the concert is not only for LGBTIQ+ people. It is explicitly designed as an event for everyone – friends, families, allies and music lovers of all backgrounds.

Creating inclusive spaces where people come together matters deeply, especially for those who are not directly affected by discrimination. Solidarity is strongest when it is visible, and events like this allow straight and cisgender allies to show support, listen, learn and stand alongside the LGBTIQ+ community in a positive and joyful way.

A joyful musical celebration

Audiences can expect a rich and varied musical programme, with something for everyone: pop, rock, jazz and soul. Each vocal group will perform its own repertoire, and the evening will also feature a song sung together by both groups, highlighting collaboration and shared voices.

The aim is to create a warm, joyful atmosphere, where music, celebration and community come together.

Drinks will be available, and the organisers warmly invite everyone to bring their family and friends, support the cause and simply enjoy the evening.
